Chips are winning, but for how long? Bank of America and Goldman Sachs have opinions…

I have to agree with Ronnie Stoeferle.

This chart from Bank of America makes you think.

The infrastructure needed for chips to continue soaring is based on the analog world. That world that uses real assets, like metals.

It’s a good follow-up to my note from earlier this week, where I compared the Goldman Sachs Commodity Index (GSCI) vs S&P 500 from 1990 to today. Supports that view, as well.

In this piece, I cover a chart that made me think, given broad implications for metals.
